Hi, I’m Jenny Silva — lifelong animal lover, certified professional pet groomer, and the heart behind Peachy Clean Cutz.

I was born in San Jose and raised in Milpitas, California, in 1989, in a home filled with animals. From a very young age, animals weren’t just pets to me — they were family. That passion led me to begin my professional journey in animal care in 2007 at just 17 years old, when I started working at PetSmart and later attended their grooming academy in Fresno, CA, earning my first of many professional certifications.

Eager to expand beyond a corporate salon setting, I moved on to work at Barkley Square, a privately owned grooming, daycare, boarding, and training facility. There, I gained invaluable hands-on experience in dog behavior, handling, and training — knowledge that still plays a huge role in how I approach grooming today.

My career then took me to Indiana, where I worked alongside an incredible veterinarian at Honey Creek Animal Hospital for two years. This experience deepened my understanding of animal health and safety. I assisted with behind-the-scenes medical care, observed procedures, worked with medicated and fully sedated pets, and gained extensive knowledge of medications and special medical needs — experience that sets me apart as a groomer who truly understands the whole pet.

After returning to California, I worked at a well-known salon in the San Jose Bay Area before taking the leap to open Peachy Clean Cutz in 2021. We began as a storefront in Fremont, California, and quickly transitioned to what we do best today — 100% mobile grooming, bringing calm, personalized, one-on-one care directly to your doorstep.

Education never stops for me ! Every year, I attend pet and grooming conventions, including SuperZoo, the largest pet industry convention in North America. I hold multiple professional grooming and safety certifications, including:

• Certified Professional Groomer (IPG)

• AKC S.A.F.E. Groomer

• Member of the National Dog Groomers Association of America

• Current Pet CPR & First Aid Certified

• Extensive training and certification in geriatric and special needs pets

• Advanced training in Sporting Breed standards

While grooming is a huge part of my life, I’m also a pretty regular person. At home, I share my life with a dog, four cats, six chickens, and a bunny. I’m a Disney fanatic, a foodie, and I love to travel — especially to Hawaii. My favorite color is pink, and my heart will always belong to Golden Retrievers!
